Massages by Samhain

These movies demonstrate an interesting twist on the pillbox massage technique.
Because pills try to predict where you are going, it is possible to drive very
slowly next to a pill and fool it into firing in the direction you are driving
instead of into your tank. Here Samhain takes advantage of this trick to perform
an offensive double take. These are QT movies which can be viewed with
MoviePlayer by Apple or other such programs.

Movie 1: massage fuxup

This demonstrates how hard this technique really is. Samhain is trying to take my
2 green pills using his 1 red pill. He lines up for the massage. His ally
(offscreen to the left) shoots the left green pill, and Samhain tricks the left
green pill into shooting the right green pill, and using his red pill to protect
himself from the right green pill. This is working fine until my ally (green tank
"sardauker") drives by in midtake and distracts Samhain's offscreen ally, who
then stops shooting long enough that the green pills don't get killed. The
blocking red pill dies quickly and Samhain is then caught in the middle of 2 very
angry green pills.

Movie 2: massage works!

This more complete movie shows Samhain driving up and taking 3 hits before
getting lined up. His ally Storm is a little late in beginning to shoot offscreen
from the left, but Samhain pulls it all off famously.
