The situation came about after a game on G Spot. Whirlpool was determined to wall up all of my bases, so I chased him around... I either wanted to trap him or his pesky little green man. I finally managed to trap the lgm when i built a block on top of him after he built a wall next to my base. The I quickly managed to build 3 other sides to keep whirlpool from retrieving the guy. It was a great live grab... whirlpool didn't even know what hit him. ;-)
However, being a compassionate warden... I built a little pond out in front for the new green prisoner. muahahahaha
So, then there was nothing else to do except to trap whirlpool somewhere. But, then I thought... "Boy, it would be awfully nice to be able to trap him near his lgm so I can get a nice snapshot." With this in mind, I sat on the base and waited for him to come by again. In the mean time, i laid tarmac on #2 and built walls on #1 and #3, just to see if he would be foolish enough to come sit in front of me on #2. He finally did come by and sat a few squares ahead of me... between #8 and #11. But I left him alone for a minute, just to see what he would do... We sat there and looked at each other for a minute. Finally, he sends a message, "ok...we'll call it a draw...." This was my chance, as soon as I saw that message appear, I dashed forward, sending my man to build a wall on #10, pushed his tank up against the back wall, and quickly built a wall on #12. He squirmed for a second, but I already had his ass nailed... I don't think he realized at this point how bad his situation was... I casually built walls on #7, #9, #4, and #6, and exited across my base. Only afterwards did i build a wall on #5, just for good measure. hehehe
Thanks to whirlpool for being a good sport and giving me the greatest laugh in weeks. It was a great fucking time!!!! btw, you gotta let me trap you more often... ;-)
