There were 2 divisions each night, with a total 14 players participating
(not counting several who showed up but couldn't play because there weren't
enough to form the lowest division). This week marked the return of Hoss
and the departure of Nature. All 4 divisions were coincidentally marked by
0-3 losers. Santa's brief reign of terror ends, as he falls 90 points and
5 ranks in spite of a 4-2 record, illustrating the self-balancing nature of
the rating system which prevents ratings from running up too high by heavily
penalizing top players for losing just a few games they are favored to win.
Bleak's bad luck continues as he loses 0-3 against top company, but hang in
there buddy, when you win next time you will gain big points for being such
an "underdog", just like Will and Ender did as they tied for the largest
point gains (+136). In other news, both Will and Jolo decided to have a life
on Sunday night for a change ("You mean you weren't there either? Doh!") and
IBL amazingly did not grind to a halt. Thanks Santa for helping to make the
divisions and smacking Cat_Buttafuoco around for us. The full game results
