I have upgraded the ratings software so that if you are absent for 4 consecutive weeks (or is it 5? whatever) it will drop you from the ratings. This pruned the ratings list from 55 to 33. Nobody is being kicked out of IBL or anything, all ratings of all players are still saved pretty much forever, they're just not being shown. As before, people who actually played the current week are shown in maroon and those who were absent are shown in a lovely greenish gray.

At this point I essentially consider the IBL to be self-sustaining, subject of course to your continued enthusiastic yet patient playing. If there are things you need, just holler. Otherwise, I have no plans for major changes to the web page. If I were Pooh, I'd announce my retirement now, just to change my mind a few times. :)
