This week was marked by poor turnout, with 2.5 divisions on Sunday and 1.5 on Monday. Poor Washin showed both nights but couldn't play due to incomplete divisions. On Monday night we only got 1 division and that got messed up... for the full (and mildly) amusing story a la Cat_Buttafuoco, scroll to the bottom of the web page. So here are Sunday results: div 5a1 seedings: 1.Wmute 2.Hoov 3.Diamond 4.BMaster Wmute 0-3 div 5a2 seedings: 1.Ender 2.Bleak 3.Angel 4.Mel Bleak 3-0 Wmute dropped 186 points and 3 ranks, while Bleak ended his losing streak and gained 130 points and 3 ranks. BM quickly gained 132 points to become a Sluggo Class player (in the tradition of naming after famous old people). Ender's 1-2 upset hurt him a bit. Most curious is Hoov, who continues his curious IBL savvy by going 2-1 as top seed in division 1. I guess he is the ultimate partner? A word on rankings: We are now only showing recently active players on the web page, although at the bottom is a link to the full list including inactive folks too. The recent ranks are shown in order, but internally the system still remembers your "real" rank in terms of all players, and that is used to derive rank *changes* to avoid big shifts depending on who shows up week to week. A minor bug in the web ratings calculations was corrected. This did not affect the actual ratings each week, just the live report thing.

Email report from Cat_Buttafuoco:
well monday was very fucked all the way around.
first off sam bowed out of div1 because of his bad connection with kovy.
washin showed up for a second night of ibl to find out he couldn't play yet
again. once the whopping ONE division was formed (me/santa/ender/kovas) at
8:10 or so it took me and kovy about 20 more minutes to get santa/ender's
attention on #ibl (apparently the was lagged bad). then (due to the ircle
lag) it took another 10-15 minutes just to get the fuckin game started
because of ip/pw miscommunication. THEN eventhough my connection was fine
with princeton and flawless with sam, once kovy entered the wash it all
went to hell and i started splitting. this time i'm pretty sure it was my
net's fault. fuck me, maybe i should bow out.
we got about 15 minutes of total playing time in at which point me and kovy
were in trouble but were counting on snausage's innebriated state to start
working for us.
