CliffaNet: IBL IRC server

Cliffa was kind enough to set up an IRC server just for IBL purposes. Yes
you heard right, a new *server* (not a channel, not a bot, not a chat room,
but a whole new server just like irc.cdc.net, irc.law.emory.edu etc.).
This immediately replaces the use of chromium for chatting on IBL nights.
Basically you switch servers to ray.abo.fi, port 6666 or 6667.
Since this server is not connected to any network, there will be no splits
and minimal lag. I suggest everybody try it ASAP just to be sure you know
how it works. Details follow...

>If you use Homer:
Switch to Ircle for chrissakes.

>If you use Ircle:
In your startup preferences, select "other server" and enter ray.abo.fi,
port 6666. Or else after you launch Ircle, in the input window, enter the
/server command just like ircII (see below).

>If you use ircII:
Enter the command below to switch to ray.abo.fi, port 6666:
        /server ray.abo.fi 6666

Once connected, /join #ibl as usual.

The catch:
Note that since cliffa's server is *not* connected to the network, you
cannot talk to people on the "regular" IRC network known as EFnet, which is
where #bolo is and where the old #ibl used to be. You can only /msg, /dcc,
/whois, etc. those on cliffa's server. To talk to EFnet, you'll need to
/server back to your usual EFnet server (such as irc.cdc.net) or run 2 IRC
client programs simultaneously, 1 on each network. This is not as
confusing as it looks. Just switch over during IBL times and don't worry
about it. When you're done with IBL, switch back. At least initially,
I'll sit on EFnet #ibl just to remind you.
