IBL Week 4 News

This week was marked by lots of routing lag, which has replaced individual lag
such as the old BYU lag.  For example, Orvis or Will seldom lag in games with
others, but put them together and it's a mess.  So we lost a division on both
nights, or else we would've had 2 and 3 divisions.  It is really important
for everybody to show up 7:30 to 7:45 or so, which gives us at least 15 minutes
to test tentative divisions for routing lag.

This week was also marked by 2 of the most shocking upsets in IBL history.
On Sunday night, Will was in div 2, which was ruined by lag.  When div 1 had
problems, Will stepped in as a sub and as a bottom seed proceeded to go 3-0
against Lance, Cliffa, and Flag.  On Monday night, Flag managed to go 3-0
as the bottom seed in div 2 against Mel, Max, and Cliffa.  Samhain continues
his perfect season record (9-0) by sweeping Chopin, Cat_butt, and PBnJ.
Can't anybody beat this boy?

Div 4a1:  Lance Cliffa Flag Will.  (Will went 3-0.)

Game 1: Lance & Cliffa < Flag & Will.
        Team A was favored by 338 points. By losing, each lost 91 points.
Game 2: Lance & Flag < Cliffa & Will.
        Team A was favored by 204 points. By losing, each lost 79 points.
Game 3: Lance & Will > Cliffa & Flag.
        Team A was favored by 20 points. By winning, each gained 49 points.

Overall point changes: Lance -121  Cliffa -60  Flag -37  Will +220

Div 4b1:  Samhain Chopin Cat_butt PBnJ.  (Samhain went 3-0.)

Game 1: Samhain & Chopin > Cat_butt & PBnJ.
        Team A was favored by 451 points. By winning, each gained 7 points.
Game 2: Samhain & Cat_butt > Chopin & PBnJ.
        Team A was favored by 427 points. By winning, each gained 8 points.
Game 3: Samhain & PBnJ > Chopin & Cat_butt.
        Team A was favored by 251 points. By winning, each gained 19 points.

Game 1: Mel & Max < Cliffa & Flag.
        Team A was favored by 329 points. By losing, each lost 90 points.
Game 2: Mel & Cliffa < Max & Flag.
        Team A was favored by 253 points. By losing, each lost 84 points.
Game 3: Mel & Flag > Max & Cliffa.
        Team A was favored by 119 points. By winning, each gained 34 points.
