IBL Week 6 News

    After some hellacious organizing on both nights due to lag and
dropouts, thanks to the show-up-early policy (and everybody's patience) we
kept two full divisions for both nights. On Sunday div 1, Guy returned to
IBL to rule over our "little newbie league" as he so elegantly put it,
although Mel reported that the games were "really close and exciting".  In
Sunday div 2, pesty from Sweden joins IBL and loses 0-3 in some
respectable company (never thought I'd say that about Will) on Sunday
night, but comes back with some impressive play on Monday night.  He and
bump are both improving fast, and together earn the newbies of the week
award.  On Monday Max returns to his winning form with a 3-0 defeat over
Lancelot, Orvis (promoted at the last minute to div 1 but held his own and
actually gained points), and Pins (who put in a special guest
appearance).  Finally on Monday div 2, Jolo continues his downward
spiral.  The 3rd game wasn't played out due to lag and Will falling asleep
at the tank controls.  Now not only am I the worst player in the list bar
none, at 1124 points I am mathematically worse than a raw newbie!  The
games were fun though, and that's all that matters.

Div 6a1:  Bleak Guy Severian Mel.  (Guy went 3-0.)

Game 1: Bleak & Guy > Severian & Mel.

Game 2: Bleak & Severian < Guy & Mel.
        Team A was favored by 158 points. By losing, each lost 74 points.
Game 3: Bleak & Mel < Guy & Severian.
        Team A was an underdog by 144 points. By losing, each lost 31 points.
