IBL Week 8 News

    Sunday night was more or less cancelled due to Will and Jolo both
having prior social engagements.  Thanks anyway for offering to
substitute, Guy and Godot.  Monday night we were 1 shy of 2 divisions, so
instead we formed 1 division, and sluggo and Pins had a fun 1x1, which in
the spirit of playing for fun rather than for points, will remain off the
record.

    The games were all all very close on Easter Island III, with minimal
raping or lag.  Jolo reversed his recent losing trend and actually won
2-1, largely with the help of my allies.  Godot wins "heartbreak of the
week" award with his 0-6 IBL record.

Div 8b1:  Flag bump Godot Jolo.  (Godot went 0-3.)

Game 1: Flag & bump > Godot & Jolo.
        Team A was favored by 755 points. By winning, each gained 1 points.
Game 2: Flag & Godot < bump & Jolo.
        Team A was favored by 511 points. By losing, each lost 99 points.
Game 3: Flag & Jolo > bump & Godot.
        Team A was favored by 355 points. By winning, each gained 11 points.

Overall point changes: Flag -85  bump +88  Godot -112  Jolo +109  

    For next Sunday night, remember that the start time is moved up 2
hours, to 6 pm EDT (meet on CliffaNet 5:30-5:45 pm).  The earlier
everybody shows, the more promptly we can start.  Monday nights are still
at the old time.

    Only 2 weeks of summer IBL left...
