¶ THE ROVER: This old fishing schooner caught my eye, she was tired, had obviously seen better days as a working vessel, but there was something in her lines. Also she had caught the eye of the boat builder who owned her. So, she was old, but to those that love wooden boats, she was easy on the eyes. I had considered buying this vessel from this boat builder who had just recently had an addition to his small family.
This vessel was documented in a very popular book on pretty wood boats.
In the end I declined due to my decision to move on to Finland.
