THIS FONT IS NOW AVAILABLE WITH ALTERNATES CAPS PC & MACINTOSH FONT FORMATS I LANSTON TYPE COMPANY I DIGITAL FONT I ¶ SPIRE ROMAN with alternate caps were designed by Lanston's type director Sol Hess in 1937. Spire Roman is without lowercase. But It includes Spire alternate caps in both roman and italic. These are shown on the lower portion of the stylesheet. Lanston Type added an oblique version of the Spire font making it even more popular than before. Spire Roman has been used within department store logos, luxury hotel signage, perfumes, etc, etc.
