¶ 1937 BUICK SPECIAL posing in front of the Lanston Type Company. Believe it or not, there are windows hidden from the view. The doors grew over as did the sign. The sign was annually pruned by the late Robert Norton from Microsoft. The side door got so overgrown the vines folded like hinges. The main door is at the back end of the car through the trellis.
I miss that old machine. For that matter I miss the old shop too. It was wonderful having all that equipment, the ambiance, the historical archival material in my personal possession. To try explain my feeling as I read through Sol Hess's memos would make you think I believed in ghosts.
