I LANSTON TYPE COMPANY I GERALD GIAMPA I
¶ SUMNER STONE taking a picture of me in the Pender Street office. Behind me, a sliding glass door leading to a private court yard. These were seriously fun times at Lanston.
The outside private court yard was also enclosed in ivy, the garden had total privacy, an arbour of grape shaded the deck with the Koi pond. An older 1929 Buick and a boat I was restoring were also situated in the courtyard.
Boats are a fetish with me.

¶ GERALD GIAMPA: 'You bet, I was just so photogenic I didn't even have to comb my hair.' And look, it's even the old picture of someone taking a picture routine. I just love that infinity concept. Isn't it just so profound! If you look closely you will see a wine glass sitting on my arm. You see I am not the only one impaired.
