¶ GERALD GIAMPA pulling a reproduction proof in Northland Letterpress Company's pre-press department. This Vandercook proof press is the smaller of the two.

Vandercook built superior proof presses. Giampa believed in quality equipment. Many might remember the reputation of the Hammond Glider saw. Hammond made excellent saws but the Hammond Glider was the aeronautics of printers' saw technology.

Northland Letterpress was the printing and promotional department for the Lanston Type Library.
