THE MEGA EXPANSION of the Northland Letterpress. Eventually it consumed over eight thousand square feet of space under this roof. It was still very close to Vancouver's downtown core.

Northland Letterpress grew very quickly. The space allowed many pent up ambitions such as a plate making department, two Heidelberg cylinders. Northland purchased several foundries at that time and finally entered into digital font development with Giampa TextWare, Northland's pilot project. Finally Giampa purchased the Lanston Type Library.

The sign above the door was one of the twenty-five bus stop bench advertisements in Vancouver.
