And just below that check box could be another check box for "make everyone hold when the phone rings" so I don't lose all my stuff whenever the phone rings. Just below that check box could be another check box for "don't let the builder leave the tank until someone says go and if I am on the phone" so that people don't sit there and get a head start farming trees before the game starts or while I am on the phone. At the bottom there could be one last check box that says "Add More Check Boxes". slugbox

It's actually better in some ways to use it since the map doesn't become overgrown with trees as you are trying to decide fair teams. Of course, there are times when it seems like the timers do not synchronize properly, which can be a problem when trying to have a fair start. >There are a couple of other things I think should change in Bolo: > > - see for brain >interface comments. > > - see for alliance >comments. It used to be that if you built a wall underneath yourself you would just slide off, but it was possible to stay on top of a pillbox. It would be best if you just slid off of any unpassable terrain, including enemy bases. (Note: the main reason for the change in 0.99.7 was that sliding off of a wall onto an enemy base in 0.99.2 would kill the base, it seems a more reasonable solution would be to have the tank just slide off the base rather than explode). sgugugl
